Abdool Amin Osman, commonly known as Amin Osman, was born on 3 October 1936 in Morcellement St. Andre (Mauritius) and passed away on 9 December 2024 at Clinique Ferriere, Curepipe (Mauritius).

The last sortie

Picture: Shafick Osman (20 Nov. 2024). We can see his son-in-law Hon. Reza Uteem in the background. On Wednesday 20 November 2024, in Royal Gardens, Balfour, Beau Bassin, his youngest daughter Adilah and his son-in-law Reza hosted a meal to celebrate Reza's political success in the most recent Mauritius General Elections on November 10. On this occasion, he was alone with his son Shafick, without a carer. This was his final getaway.

Emergency Admission at Artemis Hospital

Emergency Admission, Artemis Hospital, Curepipe (Mauritius), 2 December 2024. After spending about ten days at Dr. Jeetoo Hospital in Port Louis, he was admitted to Artemis Hospital's Emergency Department in Curepipe on Monday 2 December 2024, on the suggestion of his physician, Dr. Khalil Peeroo. He was transported by Artemis's ambulance.
