On Wednesday 20 November 2024, in Royal Gardens, Balfour, Beau Bassin, his youngest daughter Adilah and his son-in-law Reza hosted a meal to celebrate Reza's political success in the most recent Mauritius General Elections on November 10. On this occasion, he was alone with his son Shafick, without a carer. This was his final getaway.
